Fixed dosing strategies are commonly used in radio-ligand therapies. Radiation dosimetry provides a method of determining radiation exposure of various tissues, allowing for dosages to be optimized for individual patients. To this end, this project explores the use of radiation dosimetry in PK/PD modeling of radiopharmaceuticals, and its use in optimizing dosing strategies.
 

We aim to develop a pharmacometric model based on COVID-19 data able to identify personal characteristics that could predict individual immune response. Moreover, a framework will be established as a tool for pandemic preparedness. 
 

SPACe 2: STAR: An international, multicentre, randomized controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate the effect of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of antipsychotic drugs in children and adolescents.
 

We aim to improve treatment of critically ill sepsis patients by increasing beta-lactam dosages in the initial phase of sepsis. 
 

The aim is to personalize oncological treatments using a pharmacometric approach.
 

My research focuses on the occurence of nocebo-effects in statin-intolerant. We try to identify patients who are statin-intolerant and that suffer from these effects. We hope that by identifying patients affected by the nocebo effect and allowing them to experientially understand its impact through an N=1 study design, they will experience fewer side effects from their statin treatment. This may help prevent the need to switch to expensive PCSK9 inhibitors.
